Privacy policy

CVSarthi is the Data Fiduciary for personal data you give CVSarthi, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account details: name, mobile number, optional email, city and state.
• CV content you upload or type. We keep the text we extract; the uploaded file itself is not stored.
• Payment records (order number, amount, payment ID). Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay, not us.

Why we use it

• To score, improve and generate your CV, and to match and tailor jobs — the purpose you consented to.
• To process payments and meet tax and legal obligations.

Who processes it

We use service providers to run the product: an AI provider (Anthropic) to read and rewrite CV text, a payment gateway (Razorpay), and cloud hosting and database providers. They process data only for us.

Your rights

• Access, correct or update your data from your account.
• Erase your data at any time: Account → "Delete my account and all my data".
• Withdraw consent by deleting your account.
• Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer at support@example.com. We respond within 7 working days.

Children

CVSarthi is only for people aged 18 and over.

Security and breaches

We use access controls and encrypted connections. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.

Retention

CV data is kept until you delete it. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires, without your CV.
